We won't leave
you behind
Many conferences, seminars,
debates and routine reports from every place are all taken to " Leaving no one behind," especially low-income
countries that call for the majority of votes left behind in the wake of chaos,
extremism and economic collapse ... but an important question remains how can
we Especially since there is a big gap between the paper reports presented to
the United Nations organizations and what is said in the conferences and what
is happening on the ground?
While some give a fictional image
and a rosy look for unrealistic achievements that do not reflect the reality of
the situation on the ground, we find low-income countries whose citizens
continue to suffer in order to obtain their basic needs. Unemployment, poverty
and illiteracy are spread and investment is evaporated, creating an environment
unsuitable for achieving sustainable development goals.
To reduce the gap between what is
being said and what he does, I think he would prefer to discuss the high-level
political forum of the United Nations to establish mandatory international
rules and regulations that oblige all those committed to achieving the goals of
sustainable development to take effective action on the ground. These goals and
make the citizens of high-income countries talking about the goals do not know
some citizens of low-income countries and something is showing the gap is
serious.
Therefore, international rules are
imposed on everyone to verify the extent of implementation of the sustainable
development goals and to measure the reports of achievement and actual
performance with the formation of follow-up committees and coordination between
the political forum and a group of experts, specialists and independent
organizations, as well as attention to media campaigns aimed at raising public
awareness of the importance of achieving SDGs.
Let us reiterate that our slogan
"we will not leave anyone behind" will only be achieved by realistic
follow-up to what is achieved on the ground and the actual measurement of
performance. I think it is time to say that everyone should work and those who do
not want will probably cause to drop everyone around them as well. We all Affect
and influence by each other.
